Ravine Hotel is a unique 3 Star paragliding retreat ,one of the finest Paragliding locations available in Western India. We offer breath-taking valley views, fresh breezes and convenient access to several exciting flying sites, near the villages of Panchgani & Mahabaleshwar.We are situated at an elevation of 4500 ft, and can offer flying from sunrise to sunset for the avid paraglider.
The local flying caters to all pilot levels. Beginners can easily log 2 hours in ridge lift mixed with thermals. XC opportunities abound for the more experienced pilots. Pilot’s form the USA, India, UK and France have logged cross country between 50 KM to 70 KM. The LZs are wide open and the scenery rugged and breathtaking.
During the cooler season, November to February the temperature ranges form 19oC at night to 28oC during the day, and the prevailing winds blow from the East in the morning at Harrison's Folly, which is only 2 KM from the Hotel. The wind changes to West in the evening, blowing from Sydney Point which is just outside your window.
Packages Include Pick up and Drop off from , which are the nearest cities. We offer Drop Off and Pick up from the Paragliding Sites (which are only 2 KM from Hotel) and complimentary packed Lunches for guests that purchase our packages.
And for you inexperienced and non-paragliders, tandem flights with experienced pilots are available for Rs. 1500 onwards.
